Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) used to be the best of friends, until Linda chose her mother over her bestie in tense EastEnders scenes.
Having believed that she would be buying into the Vic with Linda, Sharon was devastated when the landlady revealed that she’d accepted an offer from Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) instead.
Elaine’s immediate arrival following the bombshell sent fireworks through the pub, and Sharon and Linda’s friendship up in smoke.
Since the argument, the two women have barely spoken two words to one another, and the ones they have have been far from pleasant.
In upcoming scenes, certain Albert Square residents will grow tired of the animosity between the former friends, and will take drastic steps to intervene.
Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) has spent weeks living with Linda, who wasn’t exactly pleased to be sharing her home with a whole new family.
She soon decides that enough is enough where Linda and Sharon are concerned, and lures them both down into the Queen Vic cellar.
Once they are inside, she firmly locks the door, leaving them completely trapped.
With Linda having taken every possible measure to avoid Sharon in recent weeks, this will surely leave them in an awkward position.
With nowhere else to go and nothing else to do, the warring women have no choice but to finally talk things through.
Will Anna’s plan help to finally repair their friendship, or will it make things even worse than they already are?
